Hi All …
I have been looking forward to this installation for about a month and I must say this job came together so quickly and without any drama. I was thrilled to help my client while they were out of town this summer, with our goal being to surprise the girls when they came back to start school … Take a look at the original inspiration boards and how the final product faired …
And the finished product …
Check out how the pendent light has an etched pattern similar to the window treatments.
This heart is on the way to be group with a great mirror and small art piece. Groupings always add interest when different textures are mixed in.
Love the fabrics and peach grass cloth which was my jumping off point as well as this great new rug we just ordered at Market. It was perfect in pulling all the colors together with a touch of green !
Shawna Robinson Happy Chair . . my show stopper in this room. We worked together on pulling the fabrics but she completely read my mind and created the perfect piece !
Need a bookcase, not your ordinary !
I was told the colored pencils were her favorite . . don’t you love it.
While the chair didn’t make it for the install, we plan to switch out the lucite with this great bamboo with a colorful new fabric on the seat.
New in mirror… bedside table on it’s way.
A room that can last and last !
Room number 2 . . the focus was pink, but I wanted to add it in a strong but not predominate way. The headboard, the large lamps, accessories.
Great last minute console fine to fill an empty wall.
Our second room, needed a second Happy Chair and this one is so perfect ! The scale was key with the ceilings and she hit the nail on the head for us, thanks Shawna !
Even a touch of hot pink in the bath.
This piece would be a great addition . . maybe ?
Room number 3. The navy and crazy big scale patterned wallpaper may scare you first, but mix with a lot of white and it’s stunning !
Last minute rug change . . it happens and on the spot decision to go with the round pendant, but also comes in the drum . .
We ordered the great bookcase, but simply painted the pink inside as oppose to the dark wood color in came in . .
Her daughter was born in NYC, so a little personal touch in the photo was a detail I wanted to add. Ashley took this on our last trip to NYC. (www.ashleygoodwin.com)
While the rug I chose looked good on paper, wasn’t quite right in the room. We found a quick substitute (above). Other options could have been …
Custom lamp shades (thanks Jena and Lindsey !) using the cornice fabric scraps.
Was one of the funnest jobs ever !!
