Quick Fix for the Day . . .

Hi All . . .

Ok . . . It's that time of year and time to get those Dining Rooms up to par! Time to loose the blah.  I was recently asked to help a client give her space some color and interest without a major overhaul or big ticket price.

Take a look at the before . . .

And take a look at the After !

Simple fixes here . .

1.  Added a lighter color that trailed into the adjacent living room on 3 walls.
2.  Added a splash of wall paper on the focal wall (that you see when you first walk in the door)
3.  A new mirror
4.  A new chandelier
5.  Simple seagrass rug to anchor the table
6.  New accessories on the sideboard (from a fun shopping afternoon together)
7.  New dining room chairs (good job Jody!)
8.  "Faux" wainscoting to add some weight on the lower wall, and dress it up a bit !

It was s great tie back to the living room and powder room we recently finished . . . and was earlier posted

We then moved on to the Master Bathroom . . . nice big space . . . but a color like this will make your skin look the same . . not good !

And take a look at the After !

Simple fixes here too . . .

1.  Wall paper !!! Don't be afraid of color or depth . . this color may see dark, but with all the white and all the mirrors and light . . . it's amazing !
2.  We accessorized here too . . . a pop of orange in the vase and artwork, chest in a place often ignored, next to the tub !  It fit perfectly and now houses small bath goodies.
3.  New lights
4.  A New bath mat

Much better !

- Beth
