Hey everyone . . .

Wednesday was a fun day . . it was Lindsey's birthday.  Polka Dot cupcakes made their way to the office. Yum.  We treated ourselves to lunch and a little girl time . . . .

We also had a visit from one of my favorite reps, Mollie of Grizzel and Mann.  She meets with us twice a year and shows off the latest Osborne and Little (and Designer's Guild) fabric.   We always look forward to seeing what's new.  That meeting is coming up in February, but she came by to show us some other great new things on the market from other fan favorites . .

Grizzel and Mann (To the Trade - Us- Then to you) represents numerous fabric vendors including Ferrick Mason, Harlequin, JAB, Martyn Lawrence Bullard, Perennials to name a few - as well as furniture and accessories from Dessin Fournir, Jane Showers, Niermann Weeks, Sutherland and William Yeoward Furniture.

Thought I would pass along a few of my favorites fabrics and such.  Remember if you see anything you have to have give us a call !

First of all . . .

News from Sutherland Furniture (known for their amazing outdoor pieces) - they have just recently been granted permission from the John Dickinson Estate to offer these amazing designs in their outdoor collection !!!

Now if you aren't familiar with the San Francisco designer John Dickinson - this may jog your memory.

David Sutherland created a dramatic and elegant new collection of furniture and lighting just released this week.  It is absolutely true to the eccentric and freewheeling spirit of the designer and his friend John Dickinson.   Dickinson died in 1982 but in the seventies he produced a collection of white plaster tables inspired by hand-carved African wood tripod tables and graphic footed tables.  These are the distinctive designs David Sutherland is now offering . . . Take a look.

. . . and don't forget, their outdoor pieces are timeless and classic.  Plan early for the spring to come !

We also were treated to a preview of a few new fabrics out there and thought we would share . .

  1. Very Nice Beth. I love the fuzzy rugs, natural wood boxes and bright colors. If you want a piece or two of my trees for your showroom I would love for you to have them. Black and white photography would compliment your bright colored fabrics and furniture or maybe a piece that has natural colors in it made with organic dyes. I just came back from Hunting Island with an entire portfolio of cool tree images.
