Liz Bouleware's home is getting a face lift. We started working at the back of the house not too long ago bringing in more updated furniture and colors. We added french doors in the family room to a new desk and all new (and re-upholstered) items for a major transformation (featured here in Charlote Urban Home Magazine.) Comfortable with the new colors and look of the back of the house, it was time to start moving forward to the front and I was happy to help.
We transformed the office first, to get everyone organized. Yesterday was install day, and Adele (their picture, happy pup) was watching every move and eager to re-appear in the shoot.
This office needed major file storage, and a new desk. These pieces, from one of my favorite vendors were the perfect choice. Function meet gorgeous ! Deep drawers to hide away the ugly and sleek, stylish fronts. A much more stylish look that your typical file cabinets. The desk ties in with a large work surface and hidden pencil drawers.
I then focused on the color pop and accessories. Finding the perfect rug to carry the new color scheme from the first install . . . blues and white, but now adding in yellow and grey as not to be overly matched. All the pieces have a midcentury vibe and chrome accents.
I love seeing a design board come to life !
Looking back at our first install, we are getting there with our update look !

And this is one pup who loves her picture taken !
What's next? Maybe a tweaked living and dining room.
