Mid week and I am looking forward to end week ! Out of town installs can be exhausting. Driving, driving. Big one coming up at the end of the week and I'll be ready for a big 'ole Saturday nap. There's nothing better than a clean sheet, sleep mask nap around 3:00 .. love it.
This is the room to do it in. I love this space. Designed for long time clients on the lake, she loves her naps as well. Her bedroom is her haven, her escape and it needed a complete overall. We took everything out and started completely over.

I love so many things about this space. The clean white walls, the trim detail that lines up with the floating bedside tables, made by my favorite carpenter, mill worker extraordinaire Jacob Wolfe (and perfect with their hidden USB cords). The simple, but dramatic lighting, gorgeous Stark Carpet and ... some pretty great custom art, thanks Keith.

Keith and I worked on the perfect art piece focal point.... a mix of gold leaf, stucco, paper and lime.. mixed media yummy.
These side shelves are pretty groovy too. One has a hidden drawer. Simply styled and really just an architectural feature to add a little detail.
Love the pendants, they give off the prettiest glow when on.

Bay window idea ? How about a floating "bed." We had this made as well. For a perfectly fitted mattress call Dilworth Mattress - they'll make any size !
A touch of modern in the "nesting" side tables.
