The Wet Bar is getting more and more attention these days. It can certainly be a moment to do something special. Tile, wall paper, dramatic paint color, drama lighting, just like a powder room it can be a small spot that people will talk about, and want themselves.
In the past couple of posts we included Wet Bars. One Maggie did, and another I worked on so I thought I'd write a bit about the Wet Bar.
In Maggie's space (see post here) she opted to go monochromatic and paint the walls and wet bar the same color. We chose Farrow & Ball Hague Blue which never disappoints. It's rich navy hue is deep and saturated and in most spaces compliments most anything. Navy is one of those colors that can be mixed with warm tones and cool. With that chosen it was on to the drama of a little paper and lighting as well as hardware.
Dark, saturated colors in a bar area is something we are loving these days. We are all about bright, white, sunny rooms but when it's a small confined area create a little " jewel box". Here are some great inspiration pictures pulled from our Pinterest files.
