Spotlight: Brandie Gehan

Hi There . . .

The road warrior is home, only for a day, then off this afternoon to Bald Head Island for a quick measure.  I have this fun new job to install in May and being that I have to orchestrate everything for this home to make it on a barge . . . better make sure it's all in, its all the right size, and I don't forget anything.  No cars on Bald Head Island !  But before I hit the road I wanted to show off my favorite find at the DBC... Design Blog Conference 2014  (more on that to come).

Brandie Gehan - b by brandie - has designed a line of china, flatware and stemware that really caught my eye.  Very graphic, great patterns and strong colors.  I have always been a bit of a china whore... loving to mix my fine china (Wedgewood Colonnade in black) with other contrasting pieces.  Her patterns would mix in perfectly.  Take a look at a few of her patterns, images compliments of Brandie...

A little bit about Brandie from her site. . .

b by brandie is the creative vision of Brandie Gehan. Founded in 2012, her brand offers a beautiful selection of sophisticated, high-quality home accessories to customize any space - and any table. From dinnerware, flatware, and glassware to vases, candles and other accessories, B by Brandie provides an eclectic mix of modern styling with a dash of unique fashion for the home.
Brandie's vision for the company was highly influenced by her mother, who held notorious dinner parties over the years. That love of entertaining was passed on to Brandie, and to this day nothing makes her happier than inviting an eclectic mix of people to enjoy good food, great conversation, and a little bubbly! And when there are beautiful dishes, napkins and accessories on the table, the experience is even better.
Born and raised in Austin, Texas, Brandie is also inspired by her love of contemporary art, the Texas countryside, traveling, and her loyal bulldog, Meatball. She resides in Dallas with her husband, son, stepson and dog, and truly loves spending her days dreaming up new designs for her home accessories line.

Cannot wait to set the table at the showroom with a mix of her pieces.  Come by and check out, be happy to place an order for you !

Happy Friday.
