Back in April I took Mekenzie down to my friend, Kathy Comer's home in Camden, knowing I wanted to do a post (here) about this gorgeous home . . . ironically Columbia Metropolitan called wanting to do a story  . . . Mekenzie got her first cover !!  Her pictures were so gorgeous they used several of them.

As I mentioned I have an Equestrian Dream Fantasy . . my friend and client from way back when, Kathy Comer and her husband Bragg, and kids Braxton, Lydia and Walker ARE living the dream.  

I took a little work break Friday and Mekenzie and I ventured down to Camden, S.C.  I knew the house was something special, but having not seen it for a while, I fell in love all over again.  Take a look at Horse Branch Hall - a true, historically registered, 1840 Greek Revival, old southern charmer.

Road Trip . .

Hey there . . .

A weekend in Charleston was all I needed to get that early taste of Spring . . . it was warm, sunny, the flowers were blooming, the window boxes were stuffed and overflowing, everything looked clean and fresh.  I love Charleston - the history, the colors, the shutters, the cobblestone streets, bow ties and seersucker,  - beachy sophistication.  The azalea's were blooming, the Spanish Moss was dripping,  the shrimp and grits were being served up.  Its was a great get-a-way . . .
